Dearest Friend,

Welcome! Pony Press is Kate Barbaria and Brendan Albano. We are artists, game designers, and architects based in Portland, OR. Our practice is rooted in performance, storytelling and space-making. We invite you to join us in play, to be transported to other worlds, and to discover delight in the everyday magic of this one.

The attitude of the pony is our north star. Ponies are wee, charming, opinionated, shaggy, strong, and cute as hell. They pull little coal wagons and wear woolen sweaters. They prance through the snow and charge over icy tundras. Ponies like to hang out with their friends. Ponies are masters of escape and sneakery. Ponies like peppermints, sugar cubes, and oat cookies. Ponies know when to snuggle and when to bite. They are good teachers. Ponies are a good size for children, but can carry an adult, or pull them in a little cart. Ponies are indulgent.
